Christie Burris is a Subject Matter Expert in Government and Public Sector technology, bringing more than 15 years of executive leadership at the intersection of public policy, data strategy, and digital transformation. She advises state and local government clients on health IT modernization, data governance, and AI readiness, drawing on deep firsthand experience building and leading enterprise-scale programs in North Carolina state government. Most recently, Christie served as North Carolina’s State Chief Data Officer, leading a division of 70+ professionals across four business units and three legislatively-appointed boards, including the Government Data Analytics Center and NC Health Information Exchange Authority.
