Biography

 

Lisa has supported healthcare informatics and analytics for many years both in acute care settings and private sectors. She is working closely to support federal and state initiatives at SAS by refining and implementing analytic services from a clinical perspective.

Most recently, Lisa worked as a Healthcare Executive at Cerner on the Investor Owned and Federal Segment. She primarily worked with VA and DoD on EHR conversion. Primary responsibilities in this role included building strong relationships with leaders at the client site to ensure technology supports evidence-based practice and system adoption. Prior to her role at Cerner, Lisa worked at Mary Washington Healthcare (MWHC) in Fredericksburg, VA, and held many clinical and leadership positions.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, she has worked as the Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Service Line as well as the Director of Clinical Informatics.

She is a faculty member at the University of Mary Washington, teaching Healthcare Technology and Informatics and a member of Wake Forest School of Professional Studies Program Advisory Board for Health Informatics.
