The rapid growth in the quantity and quality of patient data available presents a unique set of opportunities and challenges for healthcare systems leaders, clinicians, and managers to evaluate and navigate on behalf of their respective organizations and teams. Emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies offer the potential to significantly increase quality, expand accessibility, and improve affordability of patient care. By leveraging the analytical power of AI technologies and combining this with the creative power of human insights generated through design thinking, medical and non-medical professionals alike can effectively solve key healthcare problems.

This 1-day program introduces participants to Healthcare Innovation and the basics of AI technologies while highlighting potential applications. The first half of the program covers key AI technologies and industry trends with select case studies of state-of-the-art AI innovations in diagnostics, digital health, medical devices, therapeutics, and hospital management. Building on the best practices from these case studies, the second half of the program presents an interactive, design thinking framework for developing AI-based solutions in healthcare settings. Participants will have the hands-on opportunity to apply this innovation framework to evaluate ideas drawn from their own organizations or sourced from concepts created by AI startup ventures.

Registration Deadline: September 5, 2024
